This is Our Story
Every great journey starts with a dream. For Sajjan Academy, that dream began in 2018 with a simple yet ambitious mission: to inspire and empower young minds through the game of chess.
We started small but with a big vision—fostering meaningful connections with students, making chess exciting, and becoming a lifelong mentor in their journey. Today, we’ve grown into a thriving chess community, hosting tournaments that have welcomed 5000+ participants, conducting over 250 online and 25 offline tournaments, and organizing mega events with more than 350 players each.
From local school competitions to global tournaments, we’ve helped students discover their potential, one move at a time. Our first Sajjan Academy Monthly Chess Tournament, which drew 360 players, was just the beginning of our efforts to promote chess in Bangalore and the world.
